Director General of health directorate Professor Dr. Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam said, corona vaccine produced by Serum Institute of India will be available in the country within January 21 to 25. Two days after arrival of the vaccine those will be distributed in different districts of the country from the warehouse of Beximco Pharmaceuticals.
Meanwhile the list of the receiver groups of the vaccine in the first phase was published. According to the list the health staffs engaged in Covid-19 health service in the government and private sectors will get the vaccine at first. Then the freedom fighters, law enforcing agency members, officers and employees of government sector, news media persons and public representatives will get the vaccine.
Later according to age variation the vaccine will be given to city corporation and municipality officials, religious representatives, persons related to dead body burial activities, emergency water, gas, sewerage, power, fire service, transport workers, workers of land, river and airports, expatriate workers, government officials associated with emergency public service at the district and upazila level, bank officers and officials and the population with less immunity. Aftermaths all the people of the country will be vaccinated gradually.
