Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) president Saifur Rahman Sohag has said, hidden terrorists from Shibir and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) among the agitating students vandalized the residence of Dhaka University Vice Chancellor.
He said this at a news conference at Madhu’s Canteen in Dhaka University on Tuesday.
Sohag said, the attack was carried out at the VC’s residence like the black night of 25th March. Wall of his residence, glasses of windows and cars were burnt. The VC and his family members managed to save their lives due to the leaders and workers of BCL. We want that the attackers whoever they are should be brought under law.
He said, what the agitating students did on April 8 cannot be an act of movement. They spread a rumor that one of the students died but the information was not true. Imran H Sarkar originated propaganda on facebook in this regard.
The BCL president demanded law suit against Imran under ICT act within 24 hours and punishment of VC’s residence attackers.
