Thailand, a highly popular tourist destination in Southeast Asia, attracts numerous visitors annually, leading to the continuous growth of its tourism industry.
For those traveling to Thailand for tourism or any other purpose, new regulations for foreign nationals will take effect on May 1st. Under these new rules, Thailand has made the digital Thailand Arrival Card (TDAC) mandatory for all foreign passport holders.
According to a report on Thursday by the travel portal "Visit Ukraine," individuals who fail to complete the TDAC form before entering Thailand will be denied entry. Each member of a family must complete a separate form.
This digital card has been created to allow border officials to obtain crucial information about incoming foreigners in advance, thereby expediting the entry process.
Completion of this card is mandatory for all foreign nationals wishing to enter Thailand, regardless of whether their purpose of visit is tourism, business, or transit.
The TDAC requires the provision of personal and passport details, flight information, and the temporary address in Thailand.
This card must be completed on the website of the Thailand Immigration Bureau within 72 hours (3 days) prior to travel. For security purposes, it is advisable to keep a printed copy of the completed card.
