Mild heatwave blowing in 58 districts, may increase more

After a break of a few days, heatwave has spread again in 58 districts of the country. The Meteorological Department has issued a 48-hour warning to be careful in such a situation. Uncomfortable conditions may prevail due to excess water vapor.

Meteorologist Mallick said that the temperature may rise further across the country. But it will fluctuate at 40 degrees. A moderate heatwave is blowing over Pabna, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Kurigram and Rangamati districts, according to the Wednesday evening bulletin.

Besides, Chattogram, Cumilla, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni and Bandarban districts along with Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions, mild heatwave is sweeping over. The same situation prevails in the rest of the Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions.

On this day, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 39 degree Celsius in Dinajpur. The maximum temperature in Dhaka was 36.3 degree Celsius.

There is also a glimpse of a slight increase in day and night temperatures across the country.
