48 Police officers transferred

According to the order of the President, 48 officers of Bangladesh Police have been transferred simultaneously.

According to the notification, 48 members for police including two additional inspectors general of police (IGP), five additional deputy inspectors general (DIG) and superintendents of police (SP) have been transferred. In one of the notifications, two additional IGPs have been transferred. In another circular, five additional DIGs have been transferred. Besides, 32 superintendents of police have been transferred in one notification and 16 officers in another.

It has been said that the order issued in the public interest will come into effect immediately.
