Risk of storm in 16 regions including Dhaka, warning in river ports

Gusts with a maximum speed of 60 km can blow over 16 regions of the country including Dhaka. 

This is stated in the weather forecast signed by Meteorologist Omar Faruk on Friday (August 2).

According to the forecast, a 45-60 Kmph thunderstorm can blow from South or South-East over Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet regions. Temporarily gusty or gusty winds with a speed of 60 km/h with rain or thundershowers.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
