Sheikh Abdur appointed as new Chairman of Titas Board

Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid, Senior Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department appointed as new Chairman of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company. 

This information was issued by the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources on Thursday (August 29) night.

On Wednesday (August 28), the advisor of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr Fawzul Kabir Khan said, the companies of the power and energy department will be restructured, the secretaries who have the chairman will be changed.

He also stated that the secretaries will not be kept as board chairman of any company unless it is very essential.

Before this, Md Nurul Alam, board of directors of Energy and Mineral Resources Department was the Chairman of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company.
