Tarique Rahman's Message on The Occasion of Durga Puja

On the occasion of Durga Puja and Bijoya Dashami, Md. Tarique Rahman, acting chairman of BNP, has delivered a message to the people of the Hindu religion.

He delivered a speech posted on social media X on Saturday (October 12) afternoon.

The words of Tariq Rahman are highlighted-

"I believe every Bangladeshi citizen must enjoy equal rights, freedoms, and protections without any distinction between Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or Christian. Our country belongs to all Bangladeshis, and as a united nation, we stand to form a collective community 'shield' and set an example by ensuring the safety of everyone, regardless of their identity or background.

I extend warm greetings to all those celebrating this joyous Durga Puja. May this festival bring peace, harmony, and prosperity to every household, and foster cohesion and togetherness among all communities."
