PM seeks votes and blessings for Syed Ashraf

Awami League president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sought votes for symbol boat and blessings for former party general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam.

She made this urge to the inhabitants of Kishoreganj after being connected to an election campaign rally through video conference from Dhanmondi’s Sudhasadan on Tuesday afternoon.

Syed Ashraful Islam is running in election from Kishoreganj-1 constituency. At present he is undergoing treatment in Singapore.

To the leaders and activists of Awami League the Prime Minister said, Syed Ashraf was the party’s general secretary for long period. He worked for the party during one-eleven. He has huge contribution. He is sick at present. You all should work for him considering the election as your own.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sought blessings to the inhabitants of Kishoreganj for Syed Ashraf’s early recovery.

Seeking vote for boat in the eleventh national election through video conference she said, you should make the candidates of five constituencies of Awami League and one candidate of grand alliance in Kishoreganj victorious by casting your votes in the election of December 30.

The Prime Minister was connected to the Awami League nominated candidates through video conference at around 4:30 pm at Kishoreganj old stadium.

Besides, as part of the election campaign Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was also connected to the inhabitants of Bandarban and Narail districts through video conference and sought votes.

Earlier through video conference from Dhaka some video clips were shown on the development activities in the last 10 years.
