Missing 11-Year-Old Girl Rescued from Naogaon

An 11-year-old girl who went missing from Dhaka's Mohammadpur area has been rescued from Naogaon, police have confirmed.

The girl, Arabi Islam Suba, is a sixth-grade student at a school in Barishal. She had been staying in Dhaka for the past two months for her mother's treatment, as her mother is suffering from lung cancer.

According to police, CCTV footage showed Suba walking away while holding hands with a boy.

SM Zakaria, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Adabor Police Station, earlier stated, citing Suba's family, that she was romantically involved with the boy.

Suba's father, Imran Rajib, reported that she had gone out with her cousin on Sunday evening. She disappeared while crossing the road with her cousin. Following her disappearance, he filed a General Diary (GD) with Adabor Police Station.
