Qatar-Arranged Air Ambulance for Begum Zia to Arrive from Germany

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia will be transported to London for further treatment aboard a special ambulance, provided by the Emir of Qatar, which will now arrive in Dhaka from Germany. 

This overseas travel is contingent upon her health condition permitting the journey.

"It will now come from Germany with support from Qatar," a spokesman at the Embassy of Qatar in Dhaka told a media on Friday afternoon, but he did not disclose the time of its arrival in Dhaka, indicating that BNP will decide when they need the air ambulance.

Meanwhile, the air ambulance was initially expected to come from Qatar.
