Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, has reached out to the citizens of Bangladesh with heartfelt greetings on the eve of Holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a personal message shared via his verified Facebook page, the Minister, joined by his wife Rahat Ara Begum, expressed his best wishes for the festive season.
“My wife and I extend heartfelt Eid greetings to the beloved people of the country,” he stated, adding a prayer for the safety and happiness of all citizens: “May your Eid be happy, joyful and safe.”
The announcement comes as the nation prepares for Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow, the most significant and sacred religious festival for the Muslim community.
The celebration follows thirty days of spiritual reflection and fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
As a senior member of the cabinet, Minister Mirza Fakhrul’s message underscored the themes of communal harmony and joy that define the conclusion of the fasting period.
Across the country, preparations are in their final stages for the congregational prayers and family gatherings that will mark the first day of the month of Shawwal.
