Oman Ambassador to Bangladesh Jamil bin Haji Al Balushi has extended his sincerest congratulations and warm greetings to President Mohammad Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the premier religious festival of the Muslim community, Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Bangladesh said in a press release.
The Ambassador met with both the President and the Prime Minister during a formal reception for well-wishers held at the Presidential Palace (Bangabhaban) in Dhaka on Saturday.
The meeting took place amidst nationwide celebrations marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
During the reception, Ambassador Al Balushi conveyed a message of solidarity and friendship, offering prayers for the Almighty to grant both the President and the Prime Minister abundant health and wellness.
He further expressed his hopes for the continued progress and prosperity of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
