DoE Director General dies from Covid-19

Director General of Department of Environment Dr. AKM Rafique Ahammed died after being infected with coronavirus (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).

He died at around 4 am on Saturday at Rajarbag Police Hospital in the capital while undergoing treatment.

Dipankar Bar, Public Relations Officer of environment, forest and climate change ministry confirmed the information.

AH
