‘Serum has no right to halt vaccine shipment after taking money’

Indian Serum Institute has taken money for one and half crore doses of corona vaccine. But they have provided 70 lakh doses of vaccine. In this situation Managing Director of BEXIMCO Pharmaceuticals Nazmul Hasan Papon has commented saying, at this moment Serum Institute has no right to halt shipment of the vaccine.

He said this to the newsmen after taking the second dose of corona vaccine at Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital on Saturday.

He said, the government should be vocal to raise its demand. As we have paid in advance, so they should supply the consignment. We have provided money for one and half crore doses of vaccine. Serum has no right to halt that consignment. Time has come to consider whether India is a friend of Bangladesh or not. Sweet words will not work.
