'Action will be taken if there is proof of corruption'

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that only the corrupted people are discussing against corruption. 

It is not enough to discuss about corruption, proof must be given, then action will be taken.

On Saturday, January 14, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said these things in the meeting of the newly-elected National Committee, Central Executive Parliament and Advisory Council of Awami League. 

Prime Minister conducted this joint meeting.

Sheikh Hasina said, "As the government has been in charge for 14 years of the country, there has been a lot of development work done by Awami League government . 

The government is providing subsidies to ease people's lifestyle. 

You have to think about standing on your own feet. Due to the recession, the government is doing a lot of calculations.

Noting that many people do not want to accept these developments in the country, the Prime Minister said, 'Awami League keeps its promises. People are benefiting because the promises are being acted upon. 

As Awami League is in power, the country has become self-sufficient in food."
