The BNP has announced a two-day program on February 17 and 18, demanding a fair share of river water from the Teesta.

On Tuesday (February 11), BNP Chairperson's Press Wing official Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the information.

According to him, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will inaugurate the program in Gaibandha, while the party's acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, will deliver the concluding speech at an event near the Lalmonirhat border.

In addition, the BNP has declared a series of rallies and meetings across the country to address various public concerns, including stabilizing the prices of essential goods.

In a press release on Monday, the party stated that from February 12 until the beginning of Ramadan, BNP will hold meetings and rallies at district and metropolitan levels nationwide.

These events will focus on controlling rising commodity prices, improving the deteriorating law and order situation, announcing an electoral roadmap for a swift democratic transition, and countering the ongoing fascist tactics within the state.
