Youth and Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan stated that the July uprising has set the stage for a new vision for the country, and it is the youth who must take the lead in turning that vision into reality. He emphasized that young people must step forward in rebuilding the nation, as they will be the driving force behind freeing Bangladesh from fascism.

Speaking at the inauguration of the "Festival of Youth" at Dhaka University's central playground on Tuesday (February 11), he highlighted the crucial role of youth in shaping the country's future.

Advisor Asif underscored that the interim government is committed to ensuring a smooth democratic transition and urged citizens to support the peaceful transfer of power.

He praised the resilience and wisdom of the people, who, despite a tumultuous mass uprising, have demonstrated patience and respect for the rule of law, preventing further bloodshed. This, he noted, is a positive indication that the people will also actively participate in rebuilding the nation and realizing the aspirations of the movement.

He expressed optimism that citizens would support the interim government's efforts to implement necessary reforms, ensure justice, and facilitate a stable democratic transition.
