The government has implemented a major leadership change at the national flag carrier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The contractual appointment of Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, the airline’s Managing Director (MD) and CEO, has been officially terminated following his imprisonment in a criminal case.
