Advance Train Ticket Sales for Eid Journey Begin

Bangladesh Railway has officially launched the sale of advance train tickets for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

The process commenced at 8:00 AM on Tuesday (March 3), starting with tickets for trains bound for the western region of the country.

Key Dates and Schedule
Passengers purchasing tickets today will be eligible to travel on March 13. Following the Bangladesh Railway schedule, the sale of tickets for subsequent travel dates will proceed as follows:

To streamline the process and reduce hassle, 100% of the tickets are being sold online. Bangladesh Railway has implemented a staggered release schedule to manage the heavy digital traffic:

Western Region Intercity Trains: Sales begin at 8:00 AM.

Eastern Region Intercity Trains: Sales begin at 2:00 PM.
