Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Bangladesh national cricket team following their ODI series victory against Pakistan.
The Prime Minister’s Press Wing shared the message late Sunday night (March 15) following the conclusion of the match.
Bangladesh clinched a thrilling 11-run victory in the series decider at Mirpur, securing the three-match series 2-1.
In a statement, the Prime Minister praised the team's resilience and unity on the field.
"The brave youth of Bangladesh have proven that victory is possible through sincere and united efforts by winning today's breathtaking match by 11 runs," the Prime Minister stated.
In a simultaneous message, State Minister for Youth and Sports, Md. Aminul Huq, also congratulated the national team.
He expressed immense pride in the players' "indomitable spirit and fighting mentality," labeling the series victory over Pakistan a unique milestone in the country's cricketing history.
The State Minister also extended his best wishes to the coaching staff and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials, expressing confidence that Bangladesh would continue to solidify its position as a powerhouse in world cricket.
