PM Congratulates U-20 Football Team: 'Victory Possible Through Unity'

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman stated, "Our brave youth, inspired by patriotism and team spirit, have proven that with united efforts, Bangladesh's victory will continue both at home and abroad, InshaAllah."
The Prime Minister made these remarks while extending his heartiest congratulations to the Bangladesh team for their glorious victory after defeating India in the final of the SAFF U-20 Championship.
On Friday (April 3), the Bangladesh team clinched the title for the second consecutive time by defeating India 4-3 in a penalty shootout during the final held in Malé, Maldives.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman said, "The government has begun implementing all plans adopted to establish sports as a profession. In this context, the success of these youths will inspire the sports-loving people of the country."
The Prime Minister extended his sincere congratulations to all the players, coaches, and officials of the Bangladesh U-20 National Youth Football Team.
The matter was confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary, Zahidul Islam Rony.
