PM Tarique Rahman Visiting Gazipur Today

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is visiting Gazipur today. Extensive preparations have been undertaken at both public and private levels to mark the visit, sparking widespread enthusiasm and excitement among the local population. 

Areas across the Gazipur metropolitan city, including Gacha and Safipur, have been beautifully decorated, while law enforcement agencies have put in place a foolproof security blanket.

Sources revealed that the main attraction of the Prime Minister’s visit is the 46th National Assembly of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP). 

In the morning, he will attend the state parade and the national assembly at the Safipur Ansar Academy as the chief guest, where he will deliver a directive speech to the members of the force.

Following the event at the Ansar Academy, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the 'National Disaster and Training Institute' building in the Gacha area of Gazipur in the afternoon.

According to relevant sources, this is the first specialized facility of its kind in Bangladesh, equipped with modern features aimed at disaster management and enhancing institutional capacity.

The institute is expected to open new horizons in the country's disaster management and training sectors.
