Pacemaker implanted in Khaleda Zia's heart

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's personal physician Dr AZM Zahid Hossain has said that a pacemaker has been implanted in her heart.

This information was provided by Dr Zahid on Sunday (June 23) at around 7 pm. 

Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain also said that Madam had a heart problem before. A heart block was also detected. There was also a stent (ring) fitted. After reviewing everything, according to the decision of the medical board, a pacemaker was implanted in his heart a while ago. A pacemaker is an artificial way to keep the heartbeat regular

Earlier, the medical board decided to implant a pacemaker in BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's heart. She is undergoing treatment at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Evercare Hospital in the capital.
