Freight, Passenger train collide in Cumilla

A collision occurred between a freight train and a passenger train named Sonar Bangla Express at Hasanpur Railway Station in Cumilla's Nangalkot area. 

On Sunday, April 16 in the evening, the clash happened. 

Jashim Uddin Chowdhury, officer-in-charge of Laksham Railway Police Station confirmed the matter.

He said, "At least 30 people were injured in this incident. 5 of them were rescued and taken to hospital."

7 compartments of Dhaka-bound Sonar Bangla Express were twisted. In this incident, casualties may rise.
