Eid Congregation Held at Largest Eidgah Gor-e-Shahid

The Eid-ul-Fitr prayer was held at Gor-e-Shahid Central Eidgah in Dinajpur, the largest Eidgah in Bangladesh in terms of area.

The first Eid prayer took place at 9:00 am on Monday (March 31), with worshippers gathering from across the country to participate in the congregation at the 52-domed Eidgah, which spans approximately 22 acres.

To ensure a smooth and peaceful prayer experience, authorities implemented several arrangements, including facilities for ablution, vehicle parking, drinking water, and a medical team.

Additionally, 145 microphones were installed, and a three-tier security system was enforced. The entire Eidgah, including its domes and minarets, was illuminated with electric lighting.
