Country's lowest temperature recorded at 6.9° Celsius in Panchagarh

Cold wave sweeping over the country. After several days of severe winter, the capital Dhaka has seen the sun shining since yesterday, but the severity has not yet subsided in most of the country's districts.

On Tuesday, January 10 the lowest temperature of the country has come down to 6.9 degrees in Panchagarh, which is also the lowest this season. The destitute people of many district have suffered.

Meteorologist Abdul Hamid Mia said, "The lowest temperature in the country is in Panchagarh. 6.9 degree Celsius was recorded there.

Yesterday the temperature in Panchagarh was 7 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the temperature was recorded at 7.9 degrees Celsius in Dinajpur and 8 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat of Rangpur.
