The government has readjusted the retail prices of fuel across the country to align with the global market. Under the new directive, the price of petrol has increased by 19 BDT per liter, octane by 20 BDT, and diesel by 15 BDT.
As a result, the current market prices are as follows:
The Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources announced the price adjustment in a message sent on Saturday (April 18). These new rates take effect nationwide starting Sunday (April 19).
According to the ministry, the adjustment was necessary to maintain parity with rising fuel prices in the international market. In addition to the primary fuels, the price of kerosene has also been raised, set to sell at 130 BDT per liter starting tomorrow.
