Crude oil prices continued their upward trajectory in the international market, with Brent crude futures rising by $2.40, or 2.2%, to reach $111.43 per barrel as of 22:15 GMT.
Simultaneously, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures saw an even sharper increase, climbing $3.00, or 2.7%, to trade at $114.57 per barrel.
The steady rise in prices reflects ongoing volatility and tightening supplies in the global energy sector.
