The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations have been published. The average pass rate across the 11 education boards is 58.83 percent.
The results were released at 10:00 AM on Thursday (October 16) through the education boards' websites, all relevant examination centers, educational institutions, and via SMS.
According to the board's instructions, students can check the published results in three ways:
To mark the occasion of the result publication, a press briefing will also be held at 10:00 AM on the same day at the Dhaka Education Board conference room.
Meanwhile, applications for result re-scrutiny will be accepted from October 17 to October 23. Students can apply online through the website https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. Direct applications will not be accepted at the Education Board or any other office.
It is worth noting that a total of 1,251,111 students registered for the HSC and equivalent examinations under the 11 education boards this year. Among them were 618,015 male students and 633,096 female students.
The examinations were held at a total of 2,797 centers across the country. However, approximately 27,000 students did not participate in the exams.
