Comedian Dildar's 21st death anniv

Today (July 13) marks the 21st anniversary of the death of popular comedian Dildar. On this day in 2003, he left the world at the age of 58.

Dildar was born on January 13, 1945 at Shahtali village in Chandpur. He ended his studies after passing SSC. His wife's name is Rokeya Begum. The couple left two daughters and a son. Dildar was the president of Zia Sangskritik Sangsad, an affiliate organization of BNP.

Dildar made his silver screen debut in 1972 with the film 'E kemon hoy', the actor is praised by everyone.

When Duldar starrer film called 'Abdullah' received huge response. The songs of the movie received great popularity.

In 2003, he won the National Film Award as the best comedian for the film 'Tumi Shudhu Amar'. 

After the actor's death, many more comedians have come to Dhaka film. No one could fill the lack of Dildar. 

Dildar's notable films are 'Beder Meye Josna', 'Bikkhob', 'Ontore Ontore', 'Kanyadan', 'Chawa Theke Pawa', 'Sundar Alir Jiban Sansar', 'Swapner Nayak', 'Ananda Osru', 'Shanto Keno Mastan' and many other films.
