Ordinary students went to the streets to demand quota reforms. The movement spread across the country. In the meantime, there has been an attack on the protestors in Dhaka University. Everyone is sharing their opinion on social media. Popular content creator and actor Salman Muqtadir was also not left out. He made a post on Facebook promising to stand by the protesters.
On Tuesday (July 16), he wrote on Facebook, 'Are there any students who have been attacked or unable to enter the hall? I will take charge of you. Although it is impossible for me to identify you among millions of messages or posts. So if you have any friend in my friend list, contact me through them.'
Salman Muqtadir also wrote, 'This is the maximum I can do at the moment. If you need a place to stay or medical care, I am here. Just saw some videos where some students are unable to enter their halls.
Finally, the actor wrote, 'I apologize again, if this is not enough. I'm really broken, embarrassed. I feel ashamed that I am not useful even though I am popular.
Earlier on Monday (July 15) after 2:00 pm, tension spread between the two sides at the Dhaka University campus. Later it turned into a conflict. Later, BCL activists took control of the campus by removing the agitators.
Meanwhile, the agitating students have announced protest marches in every campus of the country on Tuesday (July 16) to protest against the attack of Chhatra League on the quota reform activists. Shortly after their announcement, the Chhatra League called for a protest rally in every campus of the country including Dhaka University.
