Content Creator and Actress Karina Kaiser Passes Away

Content creator and actress Karina Kaiser has passed away. She breathed her last on Friday (May 15) while undergoing treatment for liver-related complications in Chennai, India. The news was confirmed by her father and former national football team player, Kaiser Hamid.

Kaiser Hamid told the media that while administering antibiotics for a lung issue, Karina's blood pressure suddenly dropped to a critical level. Despite the doctors' utmost efforts, they were ultimately unable to save her.

According to family sources, Karina came down with a fever a few days ago, and an infection was later detected in her body. Concurrently, complications stemming from Hepatitis A and E led to liver failure. As her condition deteriorated, she was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital in the capital and later placed on life support.

For advanced medical treatment, she was flown to Chennai, India, via an air ambulance last Monday night, where she was being treated at the Christian Medical College (CMC) Hospital in Vellore. Doctors initially began treating her lungs, and preparations were also underway for a liver transplant.

Karina Kaiser gained popularity among the youth through her vibrant presence and relatable, life-centric content on social media. She later ventured into acting and screenwriting, gradually cementing her position in OTT projects and television dramas. Her notable works include Internsheep and 36-24-36.

Following the news of Karina's passing, colleagues, filmmakers, and fans have been expressing their deep grief and condolences on social media.
