Hyderabad is set to transform into the global epicenter of aviation as Wings India 2026, Asia's largest civil aviation event, takes flight from January 28 to 31 at Begumpet Airport.
Under the theme "Indian Aviation: Paving the Future – From Design to Deployment, Manufacturing to Maintenance, Inclusivity to Innovation, and Safety to Sustainability," the four-day biennial show will be officially inaugurated by Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu.
The event highlights India’s rapid ascent as a global aviation powerhouse, driven by record-breaking aircraft orders and a surge in passenger traffic.
Beyond standard exhibitions, Wings India 2026 will feature an expansive international showcase, ministerial plenaries, and a Global CEOs Forum.
A major draw for the public will be the spectacular aerial displays, including performances by the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team, the Sarang helicopter team, and the British aerobatics team Global Stars.
With over 150 exhibitors and 31 aircraft on static display, the summit serves as a critical bridge for business and government networking. Key global players—including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, and Rolls-Royce—will join domestic leaders like HAL, Air India, and IndiGo to discuss the future of the industry.
The agenda also places a heavy emphasis on future-ready solutions, such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), advanced air mobility, and India's emergence as a premier hub for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services.
In a push to nurture the next generation of aviation professionals, the 2026 edition includes an Aviation Job Fair and a Student Innovation Competition.
More than 200 foreign delegates and ministerial delegations from 20 countries, including the UK, USA, France, and Singapore, are expected to attend, underscoring India's strategic importance in the international aviation landscape.
