Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it launched 12 ballistic missiles targeting critical US military assets at the Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan.

According to the IRGC, the operation targeted hangars housing US F-35, F-15, and F-16 fighter jets, alongside command and control centers and other vital military infrastructure.

The IRGC asserted that its long-range missiles successfully struck multiple facilities within the base.

The claim follows close on the heels of recent US military operations against Iran.

Earlier reports indicated that the US had launched strikes against various Iranian military installations, radar networks, and air defense systems.

In retaliation, Iran claimed to have launched missile and drone strikes targeting US installations located across Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

However, independent verification of Iran's claims remains unavailable.

The Jordanian military stated that it successfully intercepted and shot down several missiles fired toward the Al-Azraq area, adding that no casualties or significant damage were reported.

Similarly, US officials maintained that the vast majority of the incoming missiles and drones were intercepted.
