The Prime Minister made these remarks in a statement following high-level discussions between the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt. The two-day summit involving the four nations commenced yesterday, Sunday, in the Pakistani capital.

In the statement, Prime Minister Sharif confirmed he had held meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Turkey and Egypt to address the escalating regional crisis.
