At least 13 US service members have been killed and 365 others wounded in the ongoing conflict in Iran as of Friday, according to figures released by the Pentagon and reported by Al Jazeera.
While two US warplanes were reportedly shot down in Iran yesterday, it remains unclear whether those incidents resulted in further casualties or if personnel involved are included in the current toll.
According to the Pentagon's breakdown, the 365 wounded include 247 personnel from the US Army, 63 from the Navy, and 36 from the Air Force.
The remaining 19 wounded are members of the Marine Corps.
