The High Court is set to announce its verdict on the death reference, jail appeal, and appeals of the accused in the widely discussed BUET student Abrar Fahad murder case on Sunday (March 16).
Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayetur Rahman will deliver the ruling.
According to the Supreme Court's website on Saturday (March 15), the Abrar murder case is listed as the first item on the court’s schedule for the verdict.
Previously, on February 24, the High Court had reserved the case for judgment.
Attorney General KB Rumi represented the state during that hearing, accompanied by Assistant Attorney General Barrister Sumaiya Aziz and Jamiul Haque Faisal.
Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman also presented arguments at the beginning of the case. Lawyers SM Shahjahan and Shishir Monir represented the defendants.
The hearing on the appeal and death reference for the death-row convicts began on February 10.
