RTV Correspondent Conference 2025: Awards Celebrated for Excellence in Journalism

Popular private satellite television channel RTV organized the RTV Correspondent Conference 2025 with its representatives from across the country.

The day-long conference took place on Saturday (January 4) from 9:00 am at the Bengal Conference Hall in Tejgaon, Dhaka. Over 300 representatives from different parts of the country attended the event.

The conference commenced with the recitation of the Quran. Following that, Syed Ashiq Rahman, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RTV, addressed the representatives with guidelines and emphasized the importance of local correspondents in journalism. RTV's National Desk In-Charge Shaikhul Islam Uzzal also shared his insights.

Additionally, speeches were delivered by RTV's Head of News Elias Hossain, Deputy Head of News Mamunur Rahman Khan, Head of Digital and Social Media Kabir Ahmed, Head of Mobile Journalism Delwar Hossain, and Executive News Producer Belayet Hossain.

During the conference, awards were distributed among the representatives. The recipients of various categories were:
