Massive Fire Breaks Out in Dhaka's Uttara; 5 Units Working to Extinguish

A massive fire has broken out at a kitchen market in Sector 11 of Uttara in the capital. Five units of the Fire Service and Civil Defense are currently working to bring the flames under control.

The Fire Service received the emergency call on Wednesday (January 28) at 5:38 PM.

Confirming the incident, Rakibul Hasan, duty officer at the Fire Service Control Room, stated that the fire originated at a kitchen market (Kacha Bazar) in Sector 11.

Upon receiving the report, three units initially rushed to the scene to begin operations.

They were later joined by two additional units to bolster the effort.

As of now, fire officials have not been able to determine the cause of the blaze, and no casualties have been reported.
