Integrated university admission test from next year: Nowfel

Deputy Minister of Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel said, integrated admission activities will be started for the universities from the next year. So far the activities have progressed. We are considering starting the activities from next educational year.

He said these while delivering speech as the chief guest during inaugurating the activities of eleventh grade online admission process for the students of 2019-20 educational year under Dhaka board.

The Deputy Minister said, integrated group method will be started for admission in universities like the eleventh grade admission activities. Thus sufferings of students and guardians will be reduced. As well as it will bring transparency in the integrated admission proceedings.

He said, we have consulted the matter with UGC. The submitted  a report. There the matter was upheld vividly. We will hold meetings with university vice chancellors. Integrated admission method can be started after discussing the matter on how it will be implemented.

Nowfel said, those who are trying to create hindrance against online admission process implementation activities, have been made alert. We will not pay importance to any obstacle. They will be curbed strongly.

He said, starting integrated admission process is a demand of all. So it will be made effective after consultation with the university authorities. It is our political promise. No obstacle will be granted.

Additional Secretary (College) of education ministry Mahmud Ul Haque, Dhaka education board Chairman Mohammad Ziaul Haque among others were present at that time.
