For the first time since the fall of the Sheikh Hasina-led government on August 5, four former ministers have been seen together in one frame. Following the mass student uprising that led to the government's collapse, many Awami League leaders, including ministers and MPs, went into hiding. While some have been spotted individually in different countries, this is the first instance of multiple former ministers being seen together.
On Tuesday (April 1), the four ex-ministers were seen at a hospital in the UK, and their photo quickly spread across social media.
The ministers in question are Abdur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, and Shafiqul Rahman Chowdhury.
Sources reveal that Sultan Mahmud Sharif, the President of the UK Awami League, has been receiving treatment at the hospital for some time. The former ministers visited him there during their recent appearance.
While they had previously been spotted separately at UK Awami League events, this marks the first time they have been seen together in public since the August 5 student-led uprising that led to the downfall of the Awami League government.
