Tarique Rahman Calls Emergency Meeting Monday Night

Tarique Rahman, the Acting Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), called an emergency meeting of the party’s Standing Committee on Monday night.

BNP Standing Committee Member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said that the meeting will be held tonight at 8:30pm at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan. Tarique Rahman will virtually preside over the meeting from London.

He also said that there is no specific agenda for the meeting, describing it as an “open discussion,” and emphasized that today's meeting is certainly important.
