All sacred Hajj rituals have concluded, and pilgrims are now preparing to return home from Saudi Arabia. Return flights for Bangladeshi pilgrims began on Tuesday, June 10, and will continue until July 10.

After performing the ritual stoning of the devil in Mina and the obligatory Tawaf at the Kaaba, many pilgrims are returning to Mina. Some who lose their way have sought shelter at the Hajj Mission in Mecca.

This year, a total of 87,157 individuals from Bangladesh traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform the holy Hajj. Among them, 19 pilgrims have passed away. During the current Hajj season, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Interior has shut down 436 fake Hajj agencies and arrested 462 individuals for violating laws.

Meanwhile, 188 Bangladeshi pilgrims have received medical treatment while in Saudi Arabia for Hajj this year, and 19 are currently admitted to government hospitals in the country.

This year's Hajj was held on June 5. The first flight for pilgrims departing for Saudi Arabia was on April 29, and the last departure flight was on May 31. During this period, a total of 219 Hajj flights, both government and private, operated from Bangladesh.
