Bangladesh reached the Super Eight in the ongoing T20 World Cup tournament. The World Cup journey of the Tigers ended with an 8-run defeat against Afghanistan on Tuesday (June 25).
They landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9am on Friday (June 28).
After a great performance in the group stage in the ninth edition of the World Cup, the Tigers have disappointed the fans in the Super Eight.
Notably, in the ongoing World Cup tournament in the United States and the Caribbean Islands, Bangladesh started with a defeat against the United States. However, Tigers play in the Super Eight by winning three of the four matches in the group stage. Bangladesh confirmed the Super Eight for the second time in the history of the T20 World Cup.
