Zimbabwe is set to tour Bangladesh this month for a two-match Test series. They have announced a strong squad for the series, including the likes of Sean Williams and Ben Curran.
Zimbabwe announced their squad late Tuesday night (April 8th, Bangladesh time). Along with Sean Williams and Ben Curran, Craig Ervine is also included in the team.
Three changes have been made to the squad from the Ireland series. Tafadzwa Tsiga, who made his Test debut two years ago, has returned to the squad. Wellington Masakadza is on the verge of playing his first Test since 2023. Wesley Madhevere has retained his place in the team.
Jonathan Campbell, who led the team in the Test against Ireland in Ervine's absence, is also part of the squad for the Bangladesh tour.
The pace bowling unit includes Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava. Vincent Mashekesa is the only uncapped player, primarily a leg-spinner. The squad traveling to Bangladesh also includes:
Zimbabwe will play two Test matches against the Tigers in Bangladesh. The first Test will be held at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, starting on April 20th.
The second and final Test will commence on April 28th at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
