The temperature across the country is expected to rise in the coming days, with some regions likely to experience rainfall, according to the Meteorological Department.

The 72-hour forecast issued on Tuesday (March 11) at 9 am stated that a seasonal low-pressure system is situated over the southern Bay of Bengal. As a result, the weather across the country is expected to remain mostly dry with partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours. Day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged.

Daytime temperatures may rise slightly from Wednesday morning, while nighttime temperatures could increase by 1 to 2°C. During this period, isolated rain or thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds may occur in some areas of the Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions.

By Thursday, both day and night temperatures may see a slight rise across the country. However, parts of the Comilla region, along with Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions, may experience brief spells of rain or thunderstorms with gusty winds.
