A case has been filed against 250 to 300 anonymous people on charges of attacking and obstructing the police during fire fighting in Bangabazar.

On Thursday, April 6, police registered this case in the capital's Bangshal police station.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Lalbagh Division Deputy Commissioner (DC) Zafar Hossain confirmed the matter.

DC Zafar said, "While the fire fighter were on duty during the terrible fire at Bangbazar, some miscreants attacked on the fire service headquarters and members. Miscreants were even more violent when police tried to resist them. A case has been filed against 250 to 300 anonymous people in this incident. Those involved in the attack will be identified and legal action will be taken।
