PM's press conference on India visit today
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a press conference today to give details about the results of her visit to India.
The press conference will be held at Gonobhaban on Tuesday (June 25) at 11 am.
Sheikh Hasina came to the press conference giving details every time she goes on a foreign trip. In addition to a written statement about the visit, media workers given an opportunity to ask questions.
Sheikh Hasina went on a two-day state visit to India on June 21 at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is the first bilateral visit by a head of government to India after the BJP-led coalition formed the government for the third consecutive term in the Lok Sabha elections.
During her visit, Sheikh Hasina held meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During Prime Minister's visit, Dhaka and New Delhi signed 10 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), including 7 new and 3 renewals, to further strengthen the growing relationship between the two neighboring countries.
It is to be noted that Sheikh Hasina also participated as an invited guest in Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony as Prime Minister on June 9.
