Fuel prices decreased

The interim government reduced the price of all types of fuel oil in the market.

This information was confirmed in a press release from the Ministry of power, energy and mineral resources. Ministry's advisor Md Fouzul Kabir Khan informed this news on Saturday (August 31).

Before visiting the under-construction Rupsha 800 MW power plant project located in Khulna's Khalishpur around 11:00 pm today, he told reporters, 'The new price will be effective from 12:00 am tonight.'

The energy advisor said the price of diesel has been reduced from Tk 106.75 to Tk 105.50 per litre, while kerosene has also been set at Tk 105.50 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of petrol has been reduced from Tk 127 Taka to Tk 121 per litre, and the price of octane has been adjusted from Tk 131 to Tk 125 per litre.
